    Visual Rules Modeling

    Fireengine is a Business Rules Engine. Rule sets are specified by business users, not IT staff, using a visual process that requires no programming skills whatsoever. Using Fireengine a business person can deliver a solution, for example for insurance claims processing or quotation generation, in days rather than the weeks or months required by traditional IT approaches.

    Fireengine generates web applications that can be used to deliver rules-based functionality to staff in a call center, to customers via a web portal - or embedded within another application. Fireengine integrates simply and straightforwardly with your other IT systems.

    Simple Design and Deployment Model
    After only a few hours of training, business users illustrate their rules within Fireengine using a visual technique we call Spark Mapping. The rules are specified and built entirely by business people - no IT intervention is required. Once completed, Sparks can be deployed to become live applications in a minute or so, with just two mouse clicks.

    Fireengine's flexibility means it is used to deliver many different types of systems. Examples include:

Fireengine's Interaction Manager provides user and administrator security, and its publishing workflow ensures that only authorized people can author, review and approve Sparks.
